Project description

This project is a documentation of an inquiry with people on the street which the author does in the center of his home-town, asking a single question: “What Does Nedko Solakov Do?” From all the answers of the 100 people asked, Samuil registers in percentage “the truth” about Nedko Solakov’s job.

The forms used duing this inquiry are drawn into a table, a visual scheme and a list: Politician – 16 %; Sportsman – 11 %; Artist – 16 %; Singer – 7 %; Journalist – 1 %; Chess-player – 1 %; Musician – 1 %; Actor – 3 %; Minister of Internal Affairs – 1 %; Unemployed – 40 %; Homeless – 1 %; Doctor – 1 %; Writer – 1 %

The video supporting the project is a documentation of the inquiry, voicelessly showing the people’s reactions, and announcing the results in percentages in short intervals of time.
