Project Description

A series of drawings of various dams made using satellite images from Google Maps.

Dams are interesting structures that can be examined from various angles. Building them requires a high level of engineering. They conserve water resources, breed fish. The dams often cause significant changes in environmental conditions, people’s lives and in some cases in the historical inheritance. What interests me here is that they are a peculiar art form that creates new images. By taking the shape of the higher shores, the upper layers of water rise, forming new silhouettes.
